The brief

SalesGoat approached us looking to build a fully-fledged and automated website in Webflow that allows users to post and apply for jobs in the tech sales industry.

From the user perspective, the aim of the SalesGoat website was for it to be super clean and align the design to the SaaS space. Since the site was expected to be used by many users, our main aim was for the site to be as easy to use as possible. On the other hand, from the client's perspective, the aim of the site/platform was for it to be as automated as possible. Unfortunately, Webflow logic was in beta during the time of this project so we resulted in using the next best thing, Zapier and Airtable.

Features

Micro-animations

Butter-smooth micro-animations and interactions thoughtfully placed throughout the site.

Zapier Automation

We built a no-code automation using Zapier which allows for data to be automatically pushed through various logic gates. Such as sending a stipe link respective of the payment plan the user chose, notifying the user when their job post is live, notifying the user when their job post is expired, and much more.

CMS Filtering

We used the power of Jetboost to allow users to filter through through 200+ job post depending of various filter types.

Stripe Integration

In order for the user to submit a job post on SalesGoat, they need to purchase a payment plan. So we had to integrate Stripe into Webflow via webhooks, and merge that with Zapier to allow unique Stripe payment links to be emailed to the user automatically.

Our Solution

We built a fully automated payment-gated job board platform in Webflow using the power of the CMS and no-code.

The first step we do here at Pristine Digital is to design the website in Figma. Which is exactly what we did for SalesGoat. What we ended up with was a design that was clean, fun, and easy to navigate. Our first hurdle was trying to get the "fun" brand element integrated into the design, since the logo had a variety of colours, there was no primary colour. So the idea we had was to not have a primary colour and instead have the background subtle colourful. If you take a look at the site, you can get a feeling that it is very colourful, but the copy and the buttons are all black and white. That was the effect we wanted to achieve and we nailed it. The next main goal was to correctly and meticulously set up certain automations that makes it easy for the SalesGoat team to manage and update the form submission coming in. Zapier and Airtable were the tools we used to do this, we made sure that every step of the automation journey was as hands-off as possible. So from the approval of submission, to the sending of the payment link to the user, the publishing of the job post to the site after the user has paid, and the removal of the job post from the site after a certain amount of time, are all automated. The entire automation side of the project really did take a ton of planning and testing to get right, and we're over the moon with how it turned out!
