Mission One Capital's brand vision was described as "organised chaos" and "unorthodox". So we had to make sure that their websites aligns with their unorthodox brand vision through the power of great design.
The design of this website was something that was really important to the client, we had to ensure that it aligned with their brand vision and design direction. We planned on doing this by making sure the website contained little content to make the company come across as in-demand. Although there was little content, sometimes less is more, the little content that was on the website was super powerful and purposeful. There was no fluff. We also went about the design in a way that unorthodox but in a good way. We wanted the design to be something really unique and out of the ordinary that no one has seen before. The goal behind this was to wow users and increase retention time on the website.
We designed the website in Figma with a minimal feel, with out-of-the-ordinary layouts and components to align with Mission One Capitals unique brand vision.
To achieve the unorthodox design, we included very little content and took inspiration from a lot of high-end fashion brands. Normally, the navigation of a website is in the form of a navbar or a small menu dropdown. With this website, we chose to make the navigation the centre of attention, which again adds to the "organised chaos" feel the client was looking for. We used GSAP Scrolltrigger to animate the navigation component so that it shrinks as users scroll so that it is always present while allowing enough space for the user to view the content.
